1.1 Clients are required to make a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total project cost before the commencement of any work.
1.2 The remaining 50% of the project cost is due upon completion of the project and prior to the release of any final files or website deployment.
2.1 The freelance service retains full ownership and copyright of all design concepts and development work until the final payment is received from the client.
2.2 Upon receipt of the final payment, ownership and copyright of the completed web development and design project will be transferred to the client.
3.1 The scope of work will be defined in a detailed project proposal or agreement, outlining the deliverables, timeline, and specifications.
3.2 Any changes or additions to the scope of work requested by the client may result in additional charges and an adjustment to the project timeline.
4.1 The client will be provided with opportunities for review and feedback during the development and design process.
4.2 A specific number of revisions or rounds of feedback will be outlined in the project proposal. Additional revisions may incur extra charges.
5.1 The estimated project timeline will be provided in the project proposal and is subject to change based on factors such as client feedback, scope changes, and unforeseen technical issues.
6.1 If the client wishes to cancel the project after work has commenced, the non-refundable deposit will be retained by the freelance service to cover initial project costs.
6.2 The freelance service reserves the right to terminate the project if the client fails to make payments or breaches the terms of this agreement.
7.1 Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of any sensitive information shared during the course of the project.
8.1 The freelance service is not responsible for any legal issues that may arise due to the content or functionality of the completed website.
8.2 The client acknowledges that they have the necessary rights and permissions for any content provided to the freelance service.
9.1 This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Puerto Rico, United States.
By proceeding with the project, the client agrees to these terms and conditions. This document serves as a binding agreement between the freelance service and the client.
